i probably fell in love with Anastacia and her music the minute i heard her..there are many artists i admired over the

years..she stands out from the crowd..this is a voice of distinction..a powerful presence and talented lady..i usually

don't take part on any type of forums..what i am about to tell you is something any fan of Anastacia would want to hear..

my mom developed lung cancer back in january 2009..i took care of mom until she passed in september..one of the songs

from "pieces of dreams"...."you'll never be alone"...was one of the songs that reminded of my mom..i actually wanted to

put the words on her headstone..i never dreamed in a million years i would ever meet Anastacia but lastnight i had once in

lifetime chance..my good friends who own a restaurant gave me a call to tell me by coincidence she would be dining there

with her friends and family..well of course i dropped everything and ran...i was thrilled to meet her..she was so beautiful and

gracious, she signed a my cd, and we took a picture..(which i posted on my profile)..i mentioned to her about my mom and

the song..and i couldn't help but wonder..do meetings like this happen by chance..or is there a higher power watching over us

...i would like to think the later...god bless you Anastacia...these are gestures that give hope...and i am hoping very soon you

will tour here in America...please...!

 That is a beautiful story, you are so lucky for meeting her! But I am really sorry to hear about your Mum, hope you find the strength to move on to the next stage in the life, Anastacia really is an inspiration.

Hi Diane, I definitely believe in a higher power!   Have had the pleasure of meeting Anastacia a couple of times now and she is an absolute sweetheart. Truly sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, it's never easy losing anyone you love but you just keep on keeping on  stay positive and take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, watching over you.   Thanks for sharing your story with us all. x

I too never join forums but Anastacia is a one off talent

and although I love music of all Genres I only follow Anastacia's 

music closely . She gets passed over at Award shows which I

just don't get  because she is head and shoulders above other stars.

Maybe they try to ignore her because she makes stars on their labels

look bad I don't know.  But she is the only star I will drop everything

to see LIVE . Other stars I can take or leave . And when I do see them live

I am often disapointed . I am sorry to hear about your mum, personaly I know

how you feel I have been and I am still going though a similar thing with my mum .

I am glad you got the chance to meet Anastacia she is an inspirational person

despite all her illnesses she manages to keep smiling and always tries to find time

for her fans . Respect !

that's sooo cool Diane! I got to meet her in Rochester,MN on 10-21-06 at the Mayo Clinic. She was sooo nice!

I understand you a bit cuz my mom died for lung cancer too, some years ago..so I can understand what's Anastacia for you, what she represents and I'm so happy you were able to meet her and tell her about your story. Let me say that..I think that was really..I think not a chance, but the destiny.

You know Diane..I really don't know if we can talk about destiny but I'm becoming more and more sure that..things happen for a reason..and you know I think the greatest things happen for the ppl who much need them. So you got that chance, but it was not only a chance...I mean it had to happen to you...people come into your life to fill an empty space in your heart..and it's so amazing that..it's unbelievable, it's crazy and unexpected! and it can be one of the most important thing for you, to grow up again and feel that maybe nothing is so bad as you think..there can be chances to feel happy again and it's great to think that...it was not only a chance...and maybe "someone" up there wanted to show you that she's there, looking down to you..helping you to go over your sadness and to put a smile on your face again.. :-)

Btw, talking about Anastacia..yes, god bless her...her person, her heart, her soul, her everything...it's an privilege and an honour to have her in our lives..god bless her..
