I couldn't agree more! Anastacia said "If it ain't broke don't fix it" in an interview on the Biography Channel on SKY in 2006 (I believe)! I heard it too, and she is very right about that! What Universal has done for her has done her no favours - she has a highly unique style of singing and songs, most of which she has written. Let's hope she writes the whole of the next album in the style that we are accustomed! I think she would do a great deal better with her own style of music, rather than try out those of others (i.e. Ne-Yo, etc.). Although I like Ne-Yo doing his own songs, I don't care much for other people doing his - especially Anastacia! It doesn't suit her style. 'Calling all Angels' is PERFECT for our wonderful lady and shows off the great voice that she has, and in the style we are used to It's Anastacia's style, and no-one else's!
I can't wait for the next album to come out, or anything about Anastacia for that matter - it has been very thin on the ground for the last 3 months!!! I hope we hear something about her soon
